We do not collect or store any personal data, video files, audio files, or documents processed by the Service.

• Local Processing: When you import files from your device's photo library, Files app, or macOS Finder, all processing—including format conversion—is performed locally on your device.

• Data Transmission: No file content is transmitted to our servers, third-party servers, or any cloud services for processing.
• Analytics: We do not use third-party analytics services to track user behavior within the application.

2. Device Permissions

To enable the core functionality of FormatPort, the Service requires access to your device's storage.

• File Access: You will be prompted to grant permission to access your photo library or files. This permission is required only to read the files you intend to convert.
• Use of Permissions: These permissions are used exclusively to allow the Service to read the source file for local processing and to save the resulting converted file back to your device. We do not use these permissions to access or modify any other data on your device.

3. Data Retention

Since no data is transmitted to or stored by us, there is no data to retain. The data remains solely on your device. Once you delete the file from your device, it is gone.

4. Security of Data

The security of your data is paramount. Because FormatPort operates entirely offline and locally on your device, your data is never exposed to potential interception or leakage over the internet. The protection of your files is ensured by the robust security measures implemented by your device's operating system (iOS, iPadOS, or macOS).

5. Third-Party Service Providers

We do not use any third-party service providers, cloud infrastructure, or advertising networks that would collect data through our App.

6. Children's Privacy

Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 13 ("Children"). We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13.
